What Inspired Us To Make This Bag:
This handbag is named after the Australian Carette carriage. The Carette was used for conveying passengers from the city to the suburbs. The driver sat upon a slightly elevated seat, with the roof of the body extended over him. The rear portion is divided into two sections, the forward for smoking and the rear for passengers.
The Carette is a classic saddle shape. It’s classic saddle bag look is reminiscent of days gone by but updated with a gold lock and extra front pocket. The adjustable shoulder strap can be worn off the shoulder or cross body. The Carette’s Italian vegetable tanned leather make this bag extremely hard wearing. This leather gains more character as it ages.
