What Inspired Us To Make This Bag:
This handbag is named after a steam-operated musical instrument used in circus parades. It is mounted on wheels and consists of a steam boiler, a set of steam whistles, and a keyboard with connections running to the whistles. There are usually either 21 or 32 whistles, which operate on a pressure of about 120 pounds. The music produced is rather harsh, but the look is magical
The Calliope has a classic shape. This bag features both a hand to be carried as a hand bag or worn with a shoulder strap, or both. The adjustable shoulder strap can be worn off the shoulder or cross body. The Calliope’s Italian vegetable tanned leather make this bag extremely hard wearing. This leather gains more character as it ages.
