What Inspired Us To Make This Bag:
This handbag is named after the Dormeuse carriage. This carriage was designed for long expeditions. It had a well sprung body and could be converted into a sleeper carriage. Baggage could be stored on the roof. For the Grand Tourist it was great because the passengers could be driven at night. There were also ample windows for panoramic viewing.
The Dormeuse is a distinct hand bag that looks like none other. It’s boxy design and folding magnetic lid is a stand alone and receives accolades from all who carry this beauty. The Dormeuse can be worn cross body or on the shoulder as well. It's unique styling and shape make it a true statement piece. It’s square structure and size is built to hold all of your items. Italian vegetable tanned leather make this bag extremely hard wearing. This leather gains more character as it ages.
